ROBOTOR takes center stage at MarmoMac 2025

Visitors to the fair were welcomed into a booth conceived as a narrative device, showcasing the transformation of matter from an unformed element into an architectural entity through the use of robotic technology.

The stand design for MarmoMac 2025 was entrusted to AIVOX, a company of the LITIX group.

The concept draws inspiration from the Gothic cathedral—not as a form to replicate, but as an archetype of architectural evolution, where raw material is sculpted until it becomes symbol, space, and story.

An installation so innovative that it was selected among the three finalists for the Best Communicator Award, which honors “booths capable of transforming the exhibition project into a powerful narrative tool.”

For the Forbes Selection, dedicated to international figures who have distinguished themselves in enhancing the cultural and artistic heritage of stone, the award went to Maurizio Cattelan, who—in perfect Cattelan style—sent his own head sculpted by a ROBOTOR to collect the prize.
During the ceremony, a video was shown of the robot carving the head, accompanied by the voice-over of Maurizio Cattelan thanking for the award, which was received by Luciano Massari of LITIX SpA.
